2019 Honda Pilot Trim Levels
The 2019 Honda Pilot is available at five trim levels, with each level building on the one before it with added features inside and out: LX, EX, EX-L, Touring, and Elite. With an eye towards performance, technology, and safety, we've broken down your options below.
Powertrain
Each trim level comes with the same 3.5-liter V6 engine, which is good for 280-horsepower. LX through EX-L come with six-speed automatic transmission, while the Touring and Elite feature a nice upgrade to the responsive nine-speed automatic, complete with paddle shifters.
Technology
Perhaps the biggest differences between the trim levels come in the form of audio and connectivity features. All levels come equipped with hands-free Bluetooth® connectivity and an auxiliary input jack. EX and above come with an 8-inch high-resolution touchscreen display, smartphone integration, and HondaLink®.
The Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ with voice recognition, a rear entertainment system with a 10.2-inch screen and Blu-Ray® player, 115-volt power outlet, and an HDMI interface are all available on the EX-L, but come standard on the Touring and Elite packages.
The Touring and Elite trim levels further separate themselves from the pack with an impressive ten-speaker, 590-watt premium audio system, complete with sub-woofer. These two levels also include multi-zone audio and mobile hotspot capability, while the Elite adds the convenience of a wireless phone charger.
